Treating Humans is indicative of treating dogs..... 2/28/2010

We had been very happy to find a self service dog wash location out near our home in Ashburn as we used to drive to Alexandria. Then today we took our giant Chow Chow to get her mid winter fluff and buff and was treated so rudely that I was shocked. After spending the better part of an hour getting our dog clean we needed to dry her. There was a grooming table in the room and so my wife went to use it, but the pole that is used to clip the dog to was lying beside it so she went to put it on and a guy came by and said that we weren't allowed to use that. We took it to mean the pole. So we put our dog on the groomer's table and commenced the long process of drying her. After the better part of thirty minutes, and as we were nearing completion, the same guy comes in and yells, ""What part of don't use that don't you understand?"" I was honestly so astounded that I said excuse to which he then repeated the question with even more indignation. At that point I asked his name and he said, ""Art and I am one of the owners."" When my wife apologized and said she thought he meant the pole attachment, he said, ""That is not what I said and that is only meant for the professional groomer."" We quickly took our dog and left. While I was putting my dog in the car, my wife had conversation with a woman who was the other owner and explained that we had never been treated so poorly. When my wife said she expected an apology for the juvenile behavior the woman's response was, ""That won't happen and you should probably go to Barks and Bubbles."" Pros: Didn't run out of hot water Cons: Incredibly rude more
