While searching for the best pho in LA, I found it in South El Monte. I tasted various pho restaurants and found Pho Minh to be the best. The broth is unlike any I've had before.
It's a clean and rich broth (yet clear). I can definitely taste the long hours spent in producing such a wonderful soup. The combination pho with bits of tripe, brisket and rare beef is satisfying. The noodles are never mushy.
Pho Minh's in a shopping center with parking and unfortunately because it's set back a bit, there's always seating.
Pros: plenty of seating
Cons: cash only
