I was driving through Hermitage on my way to visit my daughter when I decided to stop for lunch with my Japanese wife, who also loves Thai food. I ordered the curried red snapper (I love it), but was told by the waiter that there would be a lengthy delay and I should go for the curried salmon. I hesitated and said I didn't mind waiting but on his insistence finally gave in and ordered the curried salmon.
Salmon was never intended to be curried. The portion was certainly ample but was only on the verge of being edible. I wish I had just said ""no thanks"" and left. Instead I payed over $50.00 for a nasty tasting meal and learned a valuable lesson, don't eat at Royal Thai Restaurant.
Pros: Food wasn't so bad
Cons: It wasn't what I wanted
