I have been going to Taasan for about 4 months. He was recommneded to me by a coworker. When I first went to him, it had been about 6 months since I had a relaxer. If you know anything about that, then you know it is hard to take a comb through the hair. I felt bad about it, but Taasan put me at ease. He was very gentle with my hair (as I had just finished taking out my braids the night before). The relaxer took extremely well and I was pleased with my hair style. Since then, Taasan has taken great care of me. Most recently I asked him to do highlights. The first time I selected a color that was too dark and Taasan, unlike most stylist, did not get upset when I told him I would prefer to go lighter, instead he was happy to work with me on finding a color that would be best for me. He has demonstrated time and time again how knowledgeable he is about hair care/products. He is the best stylist that I have gone to in a long time.
I have yet to have a bad experience at the salon. Everyone else there is very polite and welcoming from the time I walk through the door to the time that I leave.
