If you have the option to rent from someone else, do it. Before moving in, they charge you $140 to clean the apartment, no matter the size. My apartment had only one bedroom, I could have gotten a cleaning service to do a much better job for a third of the price.\r
When you need to talk to someone in the office, you have to go through the receptionist. She does not want to be there, she does not want to help you, she just wants to sit at her desk and slug around.\r
The apartments are old, they leak, they make noise, but maintenance is fast and that group of workers are very friendly. Which is good, because you are likely to see them often.
