To the Manager of Tigard Animal Hospital,\r
\r
I am contacting you about a bill that was sent to me 9 months after services. I was told there was an issue with my card be charged.\r

My dog Ginger had some wounds on her feet. I was told to try soaking her feet in a solution to remove them. When this did not work I was told you would need to Biopsy the wart like bumps. I called in and was given a cost for treatment. Although we were not prepared at the time for such an amount, we agreed (my husband and I) to seek the treatment. I drove from my home in Hillsboro to your facility in Tigard because I always liked the previous experiences with Tigard Animal Hospital. Most clinics are out to take your money over caring for your animals. I thought your facility was different however after this experience I will no longer bring any of my animals and I have reported this incident as well as notified every comment page I could find a listing for your site.\r
You see after making the early trip to drop her off before work, I received a call at work telling me it would be more money. Imagine my surprise…you told me one price, wait till you have my animal, make me think it is cancerous and then say you want more money. I love my dog, so I want the biopsy done. We make an arrangement to pay the agreed upon price and a later payment for the balance. I am abhorred that your customer service is to NOT honor your own mistake but take advantage of your customers love for their animal.\r
The worst part, is when my husband picked Ginger up from your facility she was bleeding all over your floor. Apparently the additional cost does NOT include proper bandage on an open wound. There was nothing placed on her paws. Her bleeding paws were bare!! In a place where other sick animals walk in and out, my dog is bleeding all over. When your staff came out to clean up she commented “wow this floor is filthy”….of course not realizing clients overheard her!! \r
Imagine my surprise after all this, when, about four months after the biopsy the same ‘warts’ appeared. I researched and found that some benefited from puppy immune booster supplements. Sure enough, the warts disappeared and have not come back.\r
You will get sent your outstanding bill of $54.31 on January 13th. My prayers are that others are not duped by you and that you gain some compassion when dealing with customers who love their animals. I understand mistakes are made, but I also know how ill will it is to lose customers over such a small amount!! Also, clean your floors!!\r
