I graduated from the insurance billing and coding class two months ago in San Diego. Today is 12-6-10. I still have not found work. All the jobs I apply to require at least 2 years experience. Even temp agencies require at least 6 months experience. Well, I don't have the experience. I went to school so I could get a job to get the experience. Anyway, I really enjoyed the classroom courses and I do believe I learned a lot, but what good is it if no one will hire me for lack of experience? That's my biggest gripe, but it's a very important one. For all the jobs I'm qualified to do, I could have stayed where I was, not gone to school at Concorde, and I would not be thousands of dollars in the hole! Don't go to Concorde and expect to get a job when you have completed the course.
