Went to see the Ice caverns this weekend, took a bunch of kids (like I always do), was very disappointed that they charge $2 to enter now. AND there isn't any fountains like they used to have, with signs saying the coins will be given to charity etc.... I saw the manager standing next to the checkout (I had about $90 worth of stuff in my hands), and told her of my disappointment, and her first exact words were 'I don't really care what you think', and that started it, she went off on me, 'She said... where do you get anything for free anymore?'. I said, that I always came there because of the caverns, and spent about $100 every year, so that's where they make their money. She said 'I don't need your business, I have plenty of people who like the caverns'. I asked her for her name, and who the owner was so I could report her bad attitude, and she said she was the owner. At that point, I put my stuff on the floor and left. I WILL NEVER GO BACK... BRING BACK FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE, and more importantly bring back the Christmas Spirit. She easily could have said ""You know, I wish we could have kept it free, but with the economy it just isn't feasilbe"" and that would have been the end of it.... oh well... hope the ghosts of christmas past present and future visit her!
