We have had great experiences every time we take our car to Mission Viejo Transmission. Whether we are there for something that is not working, or if it is due for a checkup, Kevin is always extremely thorough. He always tells me, in order of priority, what needs to be done, what is urgent and what is not urgent, and what to look for in the future.
I had the bad experience of going to the dealer and having them say I needed new brakes. I took it to Kevin, and he told me I absolutely did not need them. 10,000 miles later and I am still driving with no brake problems.
We started going over there about 3 years ago. I have a 1997 Camry, and the previous shop I had been to told me that it wouldn't last much longer. They said that I needed to put at least $5,000 into it. I brought it to Kevin for the first time, and he told me that was ridiculous. I might have paid him $300 for repairs, and now the car has around 190,000 miles and it is still going strong. He told me not to even worry about the power steering leak, just keep fluid in it. Three years ago the other shop told me it was going to die.
I can trust Mission Viejo Transmission; they are honest. They tell me what needs to be done. I am the daughter of a car dealer, and I don't like to get the run around. I like honesty, and I usually have a feel about what things are right or wrong. Kevin has been amazing. He is honest, upfront, and his pricing is great. They don't just do transmissions, and they get everything done quickly.
