I found a refrigerator on Craigslist that I thought would really tie together my newly remodeled kitchen so I made my way across town to take a look at it.
The sales person was very helpful and even made sure I had help getting the fridge into my trailer. When I went home and got some help I found that the door of the fridge had been damaged when it was loaded in so my nice new stainless fridge now looked pretty bad. I plugged it in and called them to let them know what happened. Their solution was to give me a whopping $15 off a new door (still was going to cost me $140 because the owner said I would need to replace both sides even though only one side was damaged because it wouldn't match if I only replaced one.)
After the fridge had been plugged in for a couple of days we realized that the water/ice in the door didn't work. I called them and mentioned their ""30-day warranty"" and they said that because I damaged the door they had no reason to fix this problem and suggested I find a new water filter and that would work. They had me running all over town to find a replacement filter and I was never able to find one.
I finally was fed up and said I wanted to return the fridge. They wanted to charge me a 20% restocking fee in addition to charging me for two door panels and to repair the water/ice in the door. Hundreds of dollars down the drain and terrible customer service later, I still have this fridge that looks bad and works poorly and will have to try and get rid of it and find something new.
I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even someone I dislike. DO NOT SHOP HERE! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!
