You would hope that a high end specialty footwear store would stand behind the products they sell. My experience shows otherwise. I purchased an expensive pair of hiking boots on 12/21/10 and they became defective on 12/27/10. Merchant agreed they were defective but refused to credit my credit card. They would only do an exchange (didn't have the size needed in stock) or a store credit. Didn't want a store credit since these boots were obviously not worth the money spent and they were the only boots this store carried in my size.
