I was unsure if I could handle a dog because I have 5 kids . The youngest is 2. They allowed me to try the dog for a week,even though it was the week before xmas. The dog was a really great dog she was a maltese . She did not bark and was already pretty much paper trained. My 2 year old daughter thought it was adorable but I had a hard time dealing with watching them together , My daughter was not able to understand that the dog wanted to do its own thing and was not a doll . My daughter was throwing tantrums all day . At the end of the day my nanny really wanted me to give the dog back. We both felt her my daughter was not ready for a dog yet. .Michael was so understanding , He was answering my questions all day and even gave me his cell phone number. At the store I noticed the cell phone number was posted on the door so its not like I was given special treatment , He is like this with all his customers. I returned the dog and recirved a FULL refund for the dog . He even took back the opened supplies which came with the dog .When my daughter gets older I will definitly go back to this store to get a dog.
