I first went here as a young boy, 20 some years ago. It was my first cheesesteak and defined the standard for all that followed. Nothing on South Street compares.
I'd pick up one on the way to the skating rink and after enough ice, I'd pick up one on the way home. Kept me dancing.
Now, I'm in Costa Mesa, California and there is nothing that even resembles a cheesesteak like Dalessandros! It's like what airlines would come up with for a cheesesteak.
