In response to the previous writer. If someone is buying anything ""as is"", ""as is"" means, as is. No exception. People usually call the police in this situation and the cops ""investigate"". This is not a police matter. Use common sense. If you buy ""as is"" you take your chances. Or get an engine/transmission warranty. more
