Good, but misleading 12/9/2010

My mother and I have been treating with an Acupuncturist in NY for several years. When we moved, our acupuncturist in NY said to look for someone who does classical chinese medicine. We were delighted when we saw that Ross Rosen studied Classical Chinese Medicine witih Jeffrey Yuen. But the treatments were definitely not the same. When I asked my acupuncturist in NY, she said that people often take a weekend course with Jeffrey Yuen, then claim to have studied with him, implying they do classical chinese medicine. After explaining what Ross Rosen did, my NY acupuncturist said it was likely Traditional Chinese Medicine and that is also effective. So I'm saying Ross is good, but to say he does Classical Chinese Medicine is misleading. It's like name dropping for marketing purposes. But anyone who has had classical acupuncture treatments know what I'm talking about. more
