Poor Customer Service, No TVs on Cardio 12/8/2010

I joined LifeTime for only a few months while stationed in Indy for work. When I joined, I was very clear with the member adviser that I would be moving in a few months and she said no problem, I just have to give a month's notice. On Dec 1st, I wanted to cancel and wanted Dec 31st to be my last day. I found out the hard way, that it wasn't a month's notice. It was the last day of the month before, the month you want to be done. So, I would have had to put in notice on the 30th of November. I found this to be COMPLETELY misleading and felt the adviser should have pointed this out to me when I signed up since it wasn't as easy as giving a ""month's"" notice. I asked to speak with the GM and he didn't even call me back and instead had someone call for him. They were completely unwilling to work with me and even though my December payment hadn't been withdrawn yet (so I felt I was still a FULL month away from the January payment being withdrawn), they held to ""it was in the contract you signed."" CUSTOMER SERVICE = FAIL. more
