Went to Atlanta to visit family during the Thanksgiving holiday and decided to have dinner at Doc's the night before leaving town. What a HUGE mistake. This was the worst dining experience I have EVER had. Although the restaurant was not packed we waited at the door for several minutes before we were finally acknowledged and told that we could seat ourselves. We waited several more minutes for the waitress to approach the table. (After such a horrible dining experience I wish she had never come to the table.) First, the cheddar and broccoli soup was too salty for us to finish. (Turns it this was the best part of the meal!!!) We ordered lemon pepper wings, which tasted like they were soaked in a bucket of lemon juice for a month. Needless to say, out of 12 wings, we were only able to choke down four. We then received our dinner. (We would have been better off with a bowl of dog food.) The sirloin steak, ordered medium well was so tough that we could barely cut it with the knife. It had absolutely no seasoning. (Maybe they used it all in the soup and chicken wings.) The steak was also extremely tough. We could only eat one bite. The baked potato served with the steak was rotten. When we informed the waitress of the problems with the meal she apologized and said that she would send the manager to speak with us. Ironically, he showed up at our table and introduced himself as we waited for our soup. But refused to come to hear our complaints. I will never EVER return to this restaurant. We would have been much better off eating at McDonald's, where at least the food is edible and managers tend to address customers' concerns. They should be ashamed to call themselves a restaurant. I would not give this food to an animal!!!! By the way, one star is much too high! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
