Went in for a cleaning and to have 2 cavities filled. The dentist gave me a Treatment Plan which included a root canal and other procedures at a cost of $3,600.00.
I decided to go for a second opinion from a senior dentist who told me that I have a deep cavity but there is no need to do a root canal and my issue could be fixed with filings only. The cost of the fillings would be $600.00.
Not only did I save $3,000 from getting a 2nd opinion but also avoided numerous unnecessary procedures all of which would be detrimental to my long term dental health and financial well being.
