Good tapas and drinks 11/4/2010

Here is my advice: Go here for drinks and appetizers. Do not go for dinner! The martinis are good although alittle frilly, that is the norm now a days. They have a tapas menu that is better than most. The Braised short ribs are the best thing they make by far, The BBQ pulled pork sliders, thai chicken skewers, and crab cake are all good. Calamari, bacon wrapped shrimp, and shrimp and grits sound good but are sub par. I've had dinner there once and it was amateur at best. I had a scallops, mac and cheese, and asparagus. I wouldn't recommend any of these things. Our food took about 30-35 minutes to come out, and the restaurant wasn't even on a wait. The server was a cocktail waitress that had no idea what was on the menu and had to go ask others for the answers to our questions. She was very attractive but not much upstairs. She didn't come to check on us until we were almost finished. Again, I've been to the bar several times and usually get decent srvice there. But, if the guitar player is there just leave and go somewhere else. It is so loud you can't think. more
