I had shopped a few times at snob. While I didn't think the salespeople were particularly friendly or helpful, I thought I would bring in some items for consignment, some of which were new. There was also a new purse and some jewelry--all new, or looked liked new. Some of the clothes may not have worked, but I brought things in that were seasonal or season-less. I dropped off on a Wednesday afternoon and got a call Friday night which I didn't actually get until Sunday. While I suppose it was my fault, by the time I got there Tueday morning everything had been donated and THERE WAS NO RECEIPT OR RECORD. The woman at the desk said ""I tried to call your house this morning"" for whatever that was worth. I wonder: did they really just ""donate"" that purse, that jewelry, the suit, the shirts, all of it? I know I could have taken a number of these items elsewhere, but didn't. I won't make that mistake again.
