The Legend Park Apartments are cheaply built with cheap materials inside, while the rent is much higher than most in town. I've only had problems since moving in. My AC won't get cold, my window broke, I find bugs all over my apartment, dented appliances, and sloppy painting throughout with chips/dings everywhere in the drywall. My window was the only fixed so far. It took nearly a month and call to the director of operation to get it done. The apartment manager was very upset with me for going over her head and scolded me for it. Watching the management here is like watching the key stone cops in action. There are bird droppings everywhere. So much so that you can’t take a step without stepping in it, this is unsanitary and disgusting. There are bugs everywhere around the complex. I find dead and alive bugs inside my apartment on a daily basis. There are millions of dead bugs in the light fixtures inside and outside the apartments. The management says that every apartment in Lawton has bug problems. My friend lives at the Summit Ridge apartments, but I didn’t see a single bug when I went over. Their property is five years old, just as nice, and cheaper in rent. I’m pretty jealous, but luxury isn’t in their title. What makes these apartments luxury? I guess it would be the Formica counter cops or the fake stick-on wood flooring in the kitchens and baths. It could be all of the chips, dents, and dings on the walls or doors. It might be the lumps and sharp nails in my carpet or the concave depressions in my kitchens and bath floors. Maybe it’s all of the dead grass around the property or the random hole in my siding on my patio. Every resident I've spoken to say the same thing about their apartments. The apartment manager said that they’ve done all they can to make me happy and if I’m not happy then I can move out without any penalty, but they won’t help me with moving charges that I’ll incur. Does this make sense? They say the same rhetoric that they’re making all these improvements, but this place still looks the same. Rhetoric does not equal action. This place is not worth the rent they charge. This is definitely NOT a luxury apartment as advertised. This place is way over priced for the quality.
