Wenona Barnes is best known in the community for fraudulent behavior and most importantly advertising and passing herself as Dr. Barns, PhD. She states that she holds a PHD from Carrington University ? which is a degree mill. She is NOT a licensed therapist and should not be counseling for children, teens, and divorce or family issues. She is only licensed in the state of Oklahoma as a Drug and Alcohol counselor. And her knowledge in that field is extremely questionable.
She attempted passing herself as Dr. Banes, PhD to the Oklahoma Bar Association and was then fired due to the fact that Executive Director Williams found out that she was not licensed & was advertising a phony PhD from a known degree mill.
Barnes has now opened a second business; Life Lab where she is still attempting to pass the same fraudulent activities.
