The Melting Pot is my new favorite restaurant in OKC. The ambiance is top-notch, and the server explained everything well and was attentive without being obtrusive. As a recent culinary graduate I have almost given up on going out for special occassions as I am constantly disapointed by the food and/or service, but I assure you this is a place you can go to be pampered instead of aggrevated. I recommend going with ""The Big Night Out"" which is a 4-course meal for 2 beginning with a cheese fondue served with breads, apples, and veggies, then a salad of your choice, then the main course which is a selection of different meats you cook yourself at the table with an amazing assortment of dipping sauces and finally a dessert fondue. We chose the bananas foster and it was DELICIOUS. The meal was around $130 with wine, tax, and tip and worth every penny! We will be returning (I hope soon) and requesting the same table and server. A perfect anniversary spot!
