I love independent films and foreign films. This is the place to see them, many of which will never get to a theater and some never even to Netflix. They show films twice a month Saturday AM with coffee served before the showing. There is so much excellent film making being done in places like Czech Republic, Argentina, Israel, China, Mexico, etc. and this is the film society that selects and shows these films. Modest membership fee and then the screenings are free. At times they will have the director, producer, and/or actors available for Q&A. Always a short discussion to follow films.
