I can characterize my experience with ADT as one of the
most frustrating to date. My wife and I had a $3,000
Custom Home System installed in September and have had
nothing but issues. Last month a tech visited the house to
fix one of the iCenter monitors that had stopped working
approximately two weeks after activation. He walked in and
out of the house numerous times, unplugged cat5 cables that
did not correspond to the ADT system necessitating that I
come out of pocket for repairs to my network, left the
house stating that he was going to pick up a monitor and
would be back that day. Approximately 4 weeks later we are
still waiting for him to show up. This morning I learned
that it is possible that ADT is going to charge me to fix
what has really never worked. If you are looking to
purchase a security system, please look at other providers.
Our sales guy promised the world, none of which has been
delivered. When it is all over I will have spent almost
$5,000 in equipment, installation and servicing fees for a
system that has not delivered what was promised.
