LITTLE DETAILS COUNT FOR A LOT! 11/7/2010

I recently visited The Comfort Zone while on vacation in the Hollywood, FL area. It's in a nice, artsy, quaint location and the prices are about average for what you get. My massage therapist was friendly, attentive, and skilled. I enjoyed my massage & was relaxed & refreshed when it was done. My complaints are about the details of the atmosphere. It was extremely cold in the lobby, changing area, & treatment area. Even on a warm day in Florida I shouldn't be shivering while getting a massage! The "changing areas" were 2 bathrooms that werent all that clean, comfortable or well decorated. (Not at all a spa-like feeling). The miniature foot bath before the massage was cute but could've been skipped. I would've rather paid extra for a 15 minute foot massage. I was offered water but was given a strange look of confusion when I asked for lemon (which they didn'd have). The treatment area was not private. It was dimley lit but I was only separated from the other person in the room by a thin curtain. Luckily it wasn't busy this day so it was relatively quiet. Finally, my massage was supposed to be an aromatherapy one but I think she forgot to use the right oils because I didn't smell anything! Not even scented candles. more
