I have always been a fan of Wal-Mart & the consistency from one location to the next in quality, customer service, friendliness, etc. But Silsbee Wal-Mart is awful!
I am not from the area but found myself inside the zoo while visiting with family. There were a few employees that were friendly & professional. The lady at check out was very nice & efficient. However, several employees were working in groups of two throughout the store. They were rude, loud, would not move the slightest inch from the aisle to permit passage for anyone, even if they were just talking to one another. They simply wouldn't budge. I worked my way through the store & ended up on the candy aisle. Again there were two female employees engaged in heavy conversation. Although they saw me, they did not make room. My daughter slipped by but I was stuck because I had the cart. I even said to her I could have to go around because they would not move. I went to go the next aisle over & back around to get to my daughter & the items I sought. By this time one lady had move down. I found myself between the women as one shouted, REALLY SHOUTED, something about a phone conversation to the other. They were unprofessional, rude & flat out annoying! One would have to wonder if they were that ignorant or intended to annoy the shoppers. I will go out of my way to stay away from this location.
