I went to this pawn shop to see what they may offer on my WW II handgun. I had previously been offered $800 by Chuck at Chuck's Firearms in Atlanta. The lady at the pawnshop apparently had an attitude right away. Her facial expression was as if I had stolen something from her. She told be to "take the gun out" (it was in a box). So I handed it to her. She merely told be 2 times that it was not in good shape and obviously did not know what she was talking about. The gun was not in perfect shape, but it was 93 years old. Actually, it was in good shape and was a great piece for a collector. I had the original Marine Corp. issued holster, gun clips, bullets, and bag containing the cleaning rod and cloth. It was also in "fire ready" condition. I mentioned my offer and she simply stated that I should go and get that. She then asked me if I had any gold.
