Admittedly I arrived 15 minutes late for my appointment, but when I did, the women sitting behind a receptionist desk welcomed me in gracefully. I told her my name and she said, extending her hand, "Hi Mary, I'm Dr. Slamovich." I immediately warmed up to her. \r

She took a look at my eyes, and all the while tried to get an understanding of my symptoms. \r
