AT first I was experiencing pain in my calves, it was progressing, I went to my primary care doctor and was diagnosed with sciatica. My Dr. prescribed physical therapy. Before my first appt with the PT, my situation worsened dramatically! I was unable to stand, walk, sit, or lay on my back or right side. I was in horrible pain. I was hospitalized, moraphine did not relieve my pain. I was unable to care for myself. Further diagnosis was sciatica caused by spondolythesis, degenerated disk disease, and a herniated disk. I was told I had to have back surgery, no choice and left the hospital in more pain and on struggling to walk with a walker.\r
Surgery scared me to death and I looked for other options. I tried steriod shots and various pain meds. Nothing worked. \r
DR. NICK to the rescue. I struggled to walk into his office unable to sit in the waiting area. Everyone was so kind and helpful at the office; they immediately found a place for me to lay down. \r
Dr. Nick used adjustments, a tens unit, accupuncture, massage, traction, and physical therapy...I am almost back to being my old self. I still limit how much I lift, Dr. Nick has promised that will become better with continued physical therapy. \r
Dr. Nick and the massage therapist Dawn were and still are a Godsend to me. Everyday I am thankful for the wonderful care I received at the Chiropratic Spine Center. THANKS Dr. Nick!!!!!
