The local police dept called us to inform us that our stolen car had been recovered and was stored at this tow company. It's been 2 weeks and the tow company refuses to release the car because they claim that they need an original authorization from the r/o who is my daughter and is away in college out of state. A faxed copy won't work for them...but it worked for the police department? It's quite evident that they are racking up the storage fees. Rose who sounds like a man and claims to be the Manager is EXTREMELY rude as well as everyone that works there! I've read many negative reports about this company and I don't understand why the Police Department has these losers under contract. I'm filing a report with the BBB as well as the State and the Police Department and everyone who has had a bad experience with them should do the same!!! If you're ever in need of a tow contact LA Car Carrier...They are the BEST and most honest people I have ever dealt with!!!
