I have been eating at Fonda since it opened a few years ago and i must say, it is by far the best quick service Mexican food in the Triangle! The torta ahogada is super spicy and delicious and the pozole is amazing! My personal favorite is the chicken or carnitas sopes, which are thick fried flat tortillas with Mexican cream, queso fresco, cilantro and onions. Try the salsa verde! Ok, so there may not be chips on the table at this place, but what does that matter when the portions are so large? No one needs the extra calories of chips anyway! Run to Fonda y Birrieria Jalisco!
