I was looking for an honest auto repair shop in my neighborhood to do some work, knew I could be taken advantage of with the type of work needed if not careful, and found Chip's Auto Repair the week of their Grand Opening several years ago. Chip, the owner, greeted me himself, said they would run diagnostics, assess what my car needed and call with some options. Chip called a little while later, told me the problem was not as severe as I had anticipated, completed the work when promised and I was completely satisfied. His staff is very knowledgeable, courteous and deliver on time. Chip's Auto tells you what you need, gives you options and delivers what they promise below dealer prices and without "dealer attitude". From all my experiences (they greet me by name now), Chip's operates with the utmost integrity which is a valued, hard to find commody these days. I own a performance sports car, an SUV, have two kids in college who beat their cars to death and would not trust anyone else but Chip's to work on any of my vehicles and also send referrals.
(For the real auto entusiasts - Chip's just opened a custom shop. If it is anything like the repair shop you're in good hands and no I'm not Chip's brother, I am a very satisfied customer!)
