I am a real Flemings fan, been to locations from Tampa to Knoxville to Omaha and several in between.
I also spend up to 180 nuights a year on the road and visit all levels of places to eat and know that I will get a consistent experience at Flemings when I am taking a business client.
Thsi visit changed that opinion.
The service on a slow Monday night was just plain bad, not inattentive, just bad. The food was mediocre at best, the filet was tender, but even after protesting, the server insisted that we had the correct meals and as it turned out, we did not. My steak was overcooked and my guest's was undercooked, the sides were skimpy and overall, it was a real bust in what should have been a relaxing and conversational business meal.
I did not get vocal with the manager out of respect to my business associate, but I will NEVER return. There are too many great places in Nashville to eat with attentive service and great value for the money, this was a huge waste of time and $$$$.
I don't mind paying for great food and great service, I got neither.
