Very unprofessional. First of all he kept yelling and screaming and berating his worker and cussing him out many times which made me feel very uncomfortable and which was very unprofessional. He made several unprofessional errors like cutting trim to short and trying to get away with it, piecing trim along the deck stairs and piecing interior stairs, and in other places, to save himself money on supplies, and lying to me why he did it that way as if I am stupid. The railing on the stairs are not straight and the sliding glass doors (a total of 6 in all) were not all plum which is only because he does not check his work which is evident in many things he did. He was very sloppy in that he did not take care to protect work already done, scuffing up the deck with his tools, get red chalk from a chalk line (which stains) on the grout which had not been sealed yet, scratching my travertine tile which is very soft with his ladders because he did not protect the floor after it was done (by someone else by the way who also did a horrible tile job with many highs and lows and uneven grout spacing so if he recommends a tile person for you do not use them), and chipping tile in the patio, and other things, and then trying to claim it was either me or someone else that did it and still did not repair the tile as he said he would. He was extremely slow and spent half his day at the store buying supplies instead of actually working...The project took four months to do and actually is still not done because there is a leak in the ceiling of the upper deck into the patio, for which he is not returning my phone calls and because of this leak I cannot complete the interior trim so the project is still not completed...It started in March and here it is October and still not finished. His prices are okay but you know the saying "you get what you pay for." He did a horrible job in the finish work and especially the dry wall which he said he would fix and still has not...It is all wavy and bumpy. He also did not install the special "dry deck" by the manufacturers specs and there is not enough of a pitch in it (amongst other things) and because of it I am having a leak problem which still has not been repaired. When the job started nearing the end he pushed me off to the side to do other jobs and just left me hanging even after I was telling him he is taking a rediciously long amount of time to complete the project. I had a very difficult time with him not calling me back when there was an issue so beware if there are problems he will not fix them. I definitely would NOT recommend him. He also treats his worker really badly and in an abusive fashion. He was a good salesman in the beginning and did give me several suggestions and the like, but for my permit it had to be resubmitted three times because he left out things like specs on the stairs, specs on the foundation, etc., and because of this the start of the project was delayed for quite a while.
