I've been trying to adopt an animal and the place made it impossible, claiming that they could not find any vet records for my animals they I already have, yet the records I gave them were never verified, even though one of my animals was taken to the vet who works in the same building, next door to them. The reason they gave me was: "I don't know what happened" each time, and, to make up for their incompetence by telling me that I should have been practicing more preventive care for my animals and then the records would be easier to find (because going once a year is wrong, even if your animals are fine). I made numerous phone calls to inquire about the status of our application and each time we talked to someone else. No one knew what was going on and the final comment I heard was that I could go elsewhere. They clearly do not care what happens to the animals, nor are they helpful in trying to find them home.
