The business office at this location either does not understand dental insurance or, more likely, this is an extremely UNETHICAL dental practice. It appears that they attempt to get as much cash from the patient as possible by performing excessive x-rays while claiming that your insurance will cover them. This simply is not the case as most insurance companies will only cover bitewing x-rays. Again, I would prefer to assume that they are merely ignorant regarding insurance issues, but I'm inclined to believe that it is a profit-driven approach that borders on fraudulence.\r
