I would rate this Doctor 0 Stars if I could.
I was referred to Dr. Di Giacomo by my primary care physician because he is part of my medical group. The appointment wasn't so bad, but I did leave feeling ripped off. They had apparently purchased their own x-ray machine to further their business, but it was a cheap one which didn't produce any usable resolution on the image. The nurses put the images up on display in the room, but the Dr. never even looked at them. He diagnosed my condition after moving my foot side to side twice and said his office would call me with a recommendation for treatment.
That was five months ago. Since then I've been calling his office asking for treatment and all they do is say they will call me back soon. Today the Doctor got on the phone and said he didn't need the trouble I was causing and that he would contact my insurance company and see why they had not approved a treatment. He didn't even talk to me for a moment to assess the situation, he just got on the phone and acted like I was causing a problem with his staff. I made a complaint to my insurance company, who said that Dr. Di Giacomo had not requested any treatment at all. We are currently in some stage of grievance resolution.
