I don't even pull in anymore unless there are only one or two customers in the store. Any more people than that and the staff is overloaded! There are usually plenty of teen staff on hand--four, five, six warm bodies behind the counter but none of them ever is interested in taking my order or my money or making my ice cream. We're not talking rocket science here: just a chocolate cone. I wouldn't DARE to order anything more complicated. Teens are social animals that will ALWAYS rather goof off than work, so either don't hire them, or hire someone to stand over them and keep them hopping (and cleaning). To the owner: You will easily re-coup the manager's pay by doubling the number of orders you process an hour. When customers like me see that service has improved, we will start coming more often and ordering more items!
