East coast pizza is to Yankees, what BBQ is to Texans. There are more disputes over the best than any other ethnic food I know. That said, and being a Yankee, the Onion pizza is just OK. The crust is a bit soggy, and there is too much cheese for my taste. The sauce melds into the cheese rather than having its own distinct layer and flavor. There is no oregeno on th pie and none to be found in the parlor, unheard of on the east coast. While visiting Austin I'll stick to the disputed best BBQ's and leave the pizza to home.
