I had read all the previous reviews here prior to deciding to buy my next bike at ATA and my experience was similar that of others.\r \r What I hoped to get from purchasing here as opposed to other shops was an upfront insurance policy that I would get the perfect bike for both my body and riding objectives. Prior to even deciding which frame I wanted I spent roughly three hours getting fit and then listening too and questioning the owner (try that somewhere else). It was pretty clear at that point I was dealing with a dedicated bike proffesional as opposed to some dude just selling pretty bikes. I've been in plenty of other shops and this place is definitely is in it's own league in that regard.\r \r A week later I picked up my bike. As luck would have it the weather was really nice for January and I was able to get in 40 miles. And it's clear the upfront time and process, which you won't get anywhere else in the area as far as I know, definitely resulated in getting a bike with the attributes I was looking for and perfectly fit to my body. \r \r What separates this place is:\r You can buy a high end great bike anywhere. Heck, a few mouse clicks can get you that. But, without the upfront dilligence provided at ATA that bike fitting your body and riding goals and objectives would be left to a roll of the dice. Here you can be confident that you'll nail it. They fit bikes to people, not people to bikes. It's a reverse process compared to industry standards that yields results not left to chance for certain.\r \r Fit. It's pretty easy to be comfortable on a bike. The right stem and a nice seat could do that. Being comfortable and in a position where you get the most efficiencey out of your ability is another story. That's what you get at ATA. Comfort should be and probably is a given just about anywhere....being comfortable with a fit tailored to your riding objectives and assuring you get the most out of yourself and that your position is in in line with your objectives is where ATA separates itelf. \r \r The shop is expensive compared to other options but if you dig a little below the surface in the long run it probably isn't. You'll probably see Bike Y with Dura Ace, for example, cheaper elsewhere. But scratch a little deaper you'll probably see corners cut with on the seat post, breaks, ect. elsewhere. The ATA verison will be top shelf right down to the bar tape. Not to mention you'll know you get the precise cassette, seat, ect that you're looking for. Certainly a better value than needing to swap out a stem, gears, or whatever by saving a few bucks up front. And off course the value of insuring a precise fit on a proper bike is is massive.\r \r Long term thinkers will definitely view this as a great place to purchase a bike. Short term bargain hunters should probably look elsewhere.\r \r I would definitely recommend purchasing a bike, or other bike related items, at ATA to anyone who is enthusiastic about cycling and looking to insure they get a top quality product suited to their individual wants and needs.\r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r Pros: Anything you can think of regarding bikes Cons: That's not cheap in the short term more
