Having had the previous pleasure of dining at Mother's Bistro, I was really looking forward to a wonderful meal at Mama Mia. I was rewarded with such a great experience.
Although I found it somewhat difficult to read the menu due to the very dim lighting, the meal was exquisite. Lisa Schroeder and her lovely daughter Stephanie present a dining experience the way it should be. Lisa (a Culinary Institute of America Alum), has gone out of her way to create a menu resplendent with Italian food prepared the way it ought to be. The idea of presenting excellent food, at a reasonable price while still eye appealing, and perfectly prepared at the right temperatures and served by polished friendly staff makes this place a must do.
I highly recommend the Chicken Francaise which had flavor that exploded in my mouth like a sky rocket. Don't forget to leave a little room for canolis prepared the way they should be and filled just before serving so the tubes do not get soggy.
As a recently relocated to Oregon from Philadelphia certified exec chef / culinary arts instructor for almost forty years, I would like to say a public thank you for a marvelous dining experience.
Pros: Everything
