I have eaten at some of the finest restaraunts in the world, and this in NOT one of them. After texting verification of our reservation, the staff promptly lost any record of it when we arrived. First strike. The waiters are, I assume, told to describe every ingrediant in every dish. When our waiter started to tell us what extra virgin olive oil was, I found it almost insulting. The wine by the glass that one of my party ordered was corked. It tasted of mildew. The food arrived in a timely fashion, although a bit rushed. The filet was tastey, but came alone on a bare plate. For $49.00 there should have at least been a garnish. I had the fish and it was also quite good. In addition we ordered a side of sweet potatoes which came in a large turrine and was more than enough for two. All in all, though what we ordered was well prepared and very good, dinner for two with two glasses of wine, two hors d'oeuvres and two main dishes - no coffee or dessert - was $220.00. Way too expensive and way too much attitude for what it was - good but certainly not great. more
