I went to Er at 5pm this evening for a severe knee sprain, i sat in waiting room for 1 hour before being checked in. Once checked in I was sent back for x-rays of my knee, and brought back to ER wating room. I was then to go to get a CT scan of my knee. I finally pull the PA asside and asked why I was not called back from my as she said she was waiting on my results- yet she had no clue had gone back for my scan yet. I asked to be discharged immediately and am HIGHLY upset with Northwest Hospital. I will am also writing a letter to the hospital because I sat in the waiting fro over 6 hours and was not treated properly and basically in my words ""forgotten about"" I live very close by within 5 miles and will make the extra trip to a hospital that gives a damn about at their patients. I feel changes need to be made and taken a look at by the board.
