I wish that we had taken the time to read the reviews here and therefore saved ourselves an hour of our lives and a frustrating experience. My husband and I just moved into Middleton a month ago and my friend who lives in the next town suggested we all go out to eat at Teresa's (shudder). Accordingly, she made a reservation for 7:45p. She and her husband arrived at 7:40, checked in with the very disinterested hostess who told them it would be ""about 10-15 minutes."" We arrived at 7:45 and given that it was Friday night and busy, were very understanding of the aforementioned delay. There were several other parties also waiting in the foyer and the bar area was full. Fifteen minutes became 30 minutes and once again the disinterested hostess stated that there were ""three parties"" that were finishing up. The manager (and I presume, owner) walked by and asked my friend, whom he recognized from prior visits, whether ""they were treating us right"" at which point she informed him of the wait having made a reservation. He shrugged and walked away. By forty-five minutes, every other party AND a party of two who arrived after us had been seated. Addressing the problem to the ""hostess"" yet again, we received a huffy sigh and a ""well, we can't make people leave."" Another co-hostess nodded in mopey assent and the two whispered malignantly at what they perceived to be our unwarranted affront. We openly discussed our other dining options in front of them, presenting an opportunity to make the situation right by offering us a beverage or a free appetizer as an apology for our long wait. Instead we got nothing but belligerent stares. Then we got smart and left, opting to enjoy more reasonably priced pub fare served cheerfully and expeditiously down the street. Now, having read the reviews on the food, I'm relieved that we didn't waste a penny (in addition to our time) at this dump. And apparently, we're not the first people to experience this incomprehensibly obnoxious and flagrantly dismissive treatment. Pretty stupid considering a good experience would have won our repeated business for many years to come. Now Teresa's is dead to me and I will spread the word.
Pros: Never got to eat there
Cons: Overpriced, Uncaring, Obnoxious
