Visiting Austin from Seattle, we searched to find something other than steak and ribs. We feel fortunate to have found the European Bistro. The 25 minute drive to Pflugerville was straightforward and well worth the time. The borscht was heavenly and the German potato salad was the best I ever had! The pork shank and salmon entrees were done to perfection and the apple strudel dessert topped off a perfect evening. The wait staff was friendly, attentive and pleasant to converse with. The owner stopped by and proved knowledgeable about the cuisine and was delightful to talk to. This dining experience will be one we'll long remember.
