I am not a wealthy person, and I waited over a year to scrape up the money to take my wife to Fleming's. After all the hype, I had assumed this was a gourmet restaurant. I can assure you, it is not. It is just like any other chain restaurant, pushing crummy chain restaurant food in a loud, unpleasant atmosphere. If you enjoy Outback Steakhouse (I don't), then I would recommend you should just go there and save your money. There is not much to recommend Fleming's other than the fantastic selection of wines by the glass, which are reasonably priced.
