Hibashi is a fun place that is more about the experience than the cuisine. They do feature creative martinis and extensive sake options but the wine list is both limited and overpriced. As for the sushi itself, the nigiri was oversized, almost to the point of losing its delicacy, and it did not adhere to the rice very vell. There are a number of rolls to chose from, though, ranging from very good (spicy tuna, maui, baked eel) to just OK (fat man). The "King Kong" role was a nice twist on Bulkogi (marinated beef) and definitely worth a try; however the rice on the pulverized Ahi tower was undercooked. Overall this is a festive place to go when it's more about being seen than being fed.
Pros: creative martinis and rolls
Cons: clunky nigiri and limited/overpriced wine list
