My mom wanted a small dog for christmas this year. We decided to go to the Animal House to browse. We didn't expect to leave with a puppy, but we did. We got a pomchi, named it Gizmo. He is very playful and our other dogs love him. He is such a wonderful puppy!
Whether you get a dog from a private breeder or a petstore there is always a chance it could have problems. It's the risk you take. Obviously they stand behind the health of their dogs or they wouldn't give you the free vet visit for a check-up. The smell in the Animal House I feel is only normal too. Being in business that long and having dogs constantly in there would give it an odor. When we visited the place it was very clean. Go to the palmer park mall and take a smell behind those glass doors. It smells the same way.
The lady who sold us the dog was very friendly and I would buy another dog there!
