I love the Irish Channel! Great atmosphere, live music, really good food, and run by two brothers from Ireland who grew up in a pub, so it's as authentic as it gets. There is a cajun influence (from the other side of the family I guess) and that's good, too. My favorites: the Banana Cheesecake Beignet is to die for! also the Irish Oak Smoked Salmon, Irish Potato and Leek Soup, Shepherd's Pie AND Jambalaya are both terrific, and Power's Steak is great.
